La Ventana Bay Properties was established in 2005 by Dave and Lana Nixon, who recognized the need to service this fast growing community. The business began with a few vacation rental bookings and assistance with custom home building for new comers to the area. Today the company operates out of Plaza del Teso, where it runs a full service Real Estate Brokerage, Property Management and Vacation Rental Service. The Construction Office is right next door, offering full project management and creating beautiful custom homes. La Ventana Bay Properties is located on beautiful La Ventana Bay in the town of El
Sargento near the city of La Paz, Baja California Sur Mexico.

Dave Nixon has been a custom home builder in La Ventana Bay for close to 20 years. He designed and built Plaza del Teso and is in charge of Plaza leases. Tenants at the Plaza include Teddy’s Restaurant, Kijote Coffee Shop, Cerralvo Construction and 2 retail shops.

Lana over sees the administration and billings of all aspects of LVBP: The Real Estate Brokerage, Vacation Rentals, and Property Management. Lana is also an active Real Estate Agent service clients from all over the world.

I am Anahi Castro, I’ve been working in La Ventana Bay properties for 4 years. I Was born and raised in La Paz B.C.S. I lived in El Sargento B.C.S. I’ve managed vacation rental properties, worked along with the agents and in the administration and sales process. I lived in Cabo for a short period of time 1 years ago working in the construction area.

RANDY LUCERO

I’m Randy, a man proudly from Baja California Sur. I was born in La Paz, and I grew up in Agua Amarga, a small town 15km from La Ventana. Educated by a fisherman father and a housewife mother. They have taught me values, which have been my doctrine of life. Since I was a child I created my vocation for customer service by helping my dad to serve his customers when they went fishing. They always said goodbye with a smile. Here is also where I began to speak English.

As I grew up, I dedicated myself to fishing and agriculture jobs, with which I was able to pay for my studies from high school to university, at the end of the Alternative Tourism career at the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS), I dedicated myself to work in several sectors in La Ventana and El Sargento, mainly in the area of customer service. Kindness and service attitude characterize me. This way I have gained friends and knowledge, this increased my love for customer service, because being able to talk to someone and know their needs, desires, or simply know more about a different culture, is enough to pay attention and be able to have information that helps me understand their situation and be able to provide support. Having the advantage of being local and knowing the area perfectly, allow me to offer options of opportunity for growth and development. Allow me to become an accomplice of your dreams, so that I can achieve mine.

MaRCELA MatTeOTTI

Marcela is originally from La Paz
and has worked in the tourism industry since graduating in Tourism Business
Administration at the UABC Tijuana. She also earned a Diploma in Public
Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana and spent her last year of
university in Spain on an exchange program with the University of Granada. She
has traveled the world, lived and studied in big cities such as Berlin, London,
Valencia and Tijuana.

This diverse experience instilled in
her a deep appreciation for cultural nuances and a deep understanding of client
needs. Enriched by all these experiences, she decided to return home and enjoy
the beauty, laidback style and tranquility that, Baja-Sur, offers..

Her professional background features in the event management, yacht charter and lodging industry, which led her into the real estate business as a rental manager of a large inventory of beautiful vacation homes for 8 years before fully turning in real estate agent.

In 2016 she became certified as a real estate agent, being very active in La Ventana & El Sargento. Marcela enjoys showing her clients and helping them find an ideal property according to her plans, whether to invest for the future, profit or retire.

Several successful closings underpin her experience working with buyers and sellers of homes, condos, land, pre-sales and fixer-upper properties with the potential to remodel, sell or enjoy. She approaches each client interaction with personalized attention, tailoring her services to individual goals and aspirations.

Originally from Ontario Canada, Michael first made his way down to Baja in 2013 and quickly fell in love with the slow-paced lifestyle and relaxing ambiance of Mexico. The warmth of the people, culture, food, and the incredible weather encouraged him to make Baja his permanent residence. His genuine interest in the experiences of others and his natural desire to help people made real estate a natural career choice.

Michael has been working in La Ventana’s real estate market for over 5 years and has since become very familiar with the area’s locations, properties, businesses, activities, and people. In addition to his local knowledge, he also speaks great Spanish and maintains great relationships with a wide variety of people throughout the town.
